In the late 1950s, my grandparents purchased this plate as a gift for my parents. It's been hanging in a prominent location in our home for the last 25 years. 
Our paternal heritage traces back through Texas to Britain, while the maternal side is proudly Cajun and coastal South Carolinian. |
